At Mountain Lakes Behavioral Healthcare we provide services with a focus on mental wellbeing and comprehensive care through integrative treatments. Treatment begins with a thorough intake evaluation. After this an individual chooses a personalized combination of therapy, education, and medication with the help of staff.
MLBH accepts referrals from individuals, family, and third parties like agencies, courts, physicians, and schools. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, PEEHIP, SEIB, All Kids, and many other commercial insurances. Additionally, we provide a sliding fee discount program for qualifying individuals.
Substance Use
We offer comprehensive substance use treatment services designed to meet individuals where they are in their recovery journey. Our programs include outpatient services, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and residential care, all provided in a compassionate, supportive, and evidence-based environment. Our experienced team works closely with each individual to develop personalized treatment plans that promote lasting recovery and overall wellness.
First Responders and Veterans
Our First Responders and Veterans Program is built for the people who dedicate their lives to serving others—often at a significant personal cost. We understand that years of high‑pressure situations, repeated exposure to stress, and difficult decisions can take a toll over time.
This program offers supportive services that help participants make sense of their experiences, manage stress more effectively, and restore balance in their lives. Through a combination of emotional support and practical skills, individuals gain tools to strengthen resilience, improve day‑to‑day functioning, and feel more grounded both personally and professionally.
Whether someone is coping with job‑related stress, recovering from a critical incident, transitioning out of service, or simply focusing on long‑term well‑being, our program provides a safe, private, and respectful space. Services are delivered by professionals who understand the realities of first responder and military culture and are committed to providing support with care, discretion, and integrity.
