Developing Healthy Environments

Mountain Lakes Behavioral Healthcare provides MI Residential Services for adults with serious mental illness in structured, recovery‑oriented environments. Our program offers a safe, supportive, and highly structured setting with 24‑hour therapeutic activities to promote improved functioning, stability, independence, and community integration. Services include an Adult Specialized Basic Group Home, two MI Residential Foster Homes, and Supervised Apartments. Individuals must be 18 or older, have an SMI diagnosis, and participate in structured activities; those in Supervised Apartments must also actively engage in treatment. The typical length of stay is 12–24 months.
